PRP Facial and PRP Facelift Q & A

What is PRP therapy?

PRP therapy is a treatment that uses platelet-rich plasma to rejuvenate hair or skin. Platelets are rich in growth factors, which help grow new collagen, skin tissue, and blood vessels.

To obtain PRP, Amanda draws your blood and spins it in an Eclipse PRP® system centrifuge, which separates platelets from the rest of your blood using patented gel technology.

The Eclipse PRP® not only isolates platelets, it eliminates components that hinder their efficacy, such as inflammatory white and red blood cells. It’s also designed to extract and preserve the highest concentration of platelets possible.

What’s the difference between a PRP facial and a PRP facelift?

PRP facials and PRP facelifts both prompt skin cell and collagen growth. The main difference between the two is their results.

PRP facial

During a PRP facial, Amanda uses a needle to prick the skin, a process known as microneedling. She then applies the PRP serum onto the microneedled skin, where it enters to saturate the skin and speed up collagen production.

PRP facials reduce scarring, reduce wrinkles and fine lines, and improve overall skin tone and texture.

PRP facelift

During a PRP facelift, Amanda combines PRP with a hyaluronic acid dermal filler and injects the serum directly into your face. This creates a more dramatic effect that mimics a facelift.

PRP facelifts immediately plump up your skin, creating a fuller, younger look. Simultaneously, they promote collagen and elastin growth much deeper in the skin.

PRP facelifts also diminish wrinkles and fine lines, reduce pores, and create healthier skin.

Are PRP facials and PRP facelifts safe?

At the hands of the trained and certified professionals at White Coat Aesthetics, PRP facials and PRP facelifts are a safe and inventive way to address your skin concerns.

Because it uses platelets from your own blood, PRP therapy is extremely safe. The biggest risk a healthy adult runs is getting a bruise at the injection or microneedling site.

Do you want to see how the power of your own blood can make you look younger and healthier?
