Body Acne: Causes & Treatments

Body Acne: Causes & Treatments

Have you been struggling with body acne? We know that dealing with body acne can be different from dealing with facial acne. Body blemishes can sometimes be harder to reach and more stubborn to get rid of BUT with some help and patience, we can help you get your body acne back under control. Read on to learn about the different treatments and products we offer that can help cater to this issue.

What Causes It?

To combat body acne, it helps to understand how it all works. To break it down, all acne starts the same way where the body's pores shed dead skin cells faster than normal. Body acne has many causes but 4 of the main factors are genetics, hormones, lifestyle choices and stress. These body blemishes commonly appear more on the back, chest, shoulders, and buttocks due to the amount of sebaceous glands (oil-producing glands) in those areas.

Unfortunately, even after the blemishes have been treated, you can be left with unwanted dark scars or uneven skin texture which can be tough to get rid of. Luckily, we have solutions for all of these conditions.

Treatments For Acne

When it comes to body acne, we offer a few different options. Note: With any transformative treatments, you should plan on doing a series of at least 3 treatments (in conjunction with proper homecare)  to achieve the absolute best outcome. Remember, clear skin is a marathon, not a race!
